The three major goals of SHARESTAFF are to:

  • Reduce agency costs to hospitals

  • Reduce agency dependency and utilization by hospitals

  • Reduce hospital employee costs associated with agency utilization

To reach our goals SHARESTAFF will do the following:

  • SHARESTAFF programs are designed to increase the availability of qualified nurses and other healthcare personnel. The cooperative effort and group purchasing will help lower agency costs.

  • SHARESTAFF will return control of agency utilization to the hospital by tracking scheduling activities on a daily basis by SHARESTAFF staffing specialists.

  • SHARESTAFF software will allow viewing of weekly management reports.

  • By participating in the SHARESTAFF programs, hospitals can eliminate staff involvement in marketing and social visits from agencies.

  • SHARESTAFF will make every effort to resolve scheduling and staffing problems or conflicts before involving hospital staff. Routine visits and compliance verifications will be handled by SHARESTAFF additionally reducing hospital management down time.

  • By SHARESTAFF striving to accomplish the three major goals of the program, hospitals will have freedom to refocus financial and managerial assets toward retention and recruitment.
