Agencies
SHARESTAFF has three major goals for participating
agencies. These goals are to:

Increase the number of available shifts to be
filled.

Reduce agencies operating costs.

Increase agencies revenues through diversification.
To reach our goals SHARESTAFF will do the
following:

SHARESTAFF recognizes the need
to improve relationships with qualified cooperative agencies.

SHARESTAFF will use electronic
media to expedite information of available shifts to agencies. By
increasing information flow time and monitoring alternative staffing
opportunities; SHARESTAFF will help agencies
increase actual shifts worked. These two steps will greatly increase
agency revenues while decreasing operating costs.

SHARESTAFF will also survey
participating agencies to help them expand the types of personnel
they provide as well as expansion into new regional markets. by
participating in the SHARESTAFF program, these
agencies will be granted immediate participation into new regional
staffing cooperatives opened by SHARESTAFF.

Of major value to participating agencies, SHARESTAFF
will develop policies and procedures to help protect the agency
nurses from being recruited by non-participating agency nurses while
assigned to a participating hospital.

SHARESTAFF will work with the
participating hospitals and agencies to enforce the hospitals'
commitment to use participating agency nurses.
